Friends of ROSHNI UK was established in 2004 to support the work of ROSHNI, in Gwalior, India.
ROSHNI is a rehabilitation centre for children and young adults with neurological disabilities, many living in extreme poverty, who otherwise would be deprived of basic education and rehabilitation services.

A Weekend in the Lakes with Friends of Roshni UK - July 2008
After the excellent weekend we had in Borrowdale last year, we have booked the same accommodation for Friends of Roshni UK members, family and friends for 25-27th July 2008.
Last year we walked the fells, the woods and the riverbanks. Some of us frightened ourselves on the rock faces. Some explored the beautiful Borrowdale valley by bike and on foot and some paddled a canoe on the serene early-morning stillness of Derwentwater. We cooked and ate meals together and in the evening sat around a blazing bonfire.
