Buy Alternative Gifts to Support ROSHNI
These are gifts with a difference: when you buy a gift from our gift list, you will be helping ROSHNI to support either individual disabled children, or funding resources for the centre, which will make a big difference to lots of children
In return, we will send you a special gift card to give to the person you bought it for - just let us know if it is a gift for Christmas, or for another occasion, and we will ensure we send an appropriate card.
If you would like to purchase one of these gifts, you can do so in 3 easy steps.
- First, send an email to info@friendsofroshni.co.uk stating what you would like to buy, and its price. Please include your name and address.
- We will email you a Gift Aid declaration form. You don't have to fill this in, but if you are a UK taxpayer we can reclaim 28p in every pound you send us, enabling us to support ROSHNI even more! If you are happy to fill it in, please send the signed form with your cheque.
- Send us a cheque (with your Gift Aid form) for the full amount, payable to 'Friends of ROSHNI UK', to 5 Meachin Ave, Manchester M21 7HY.
Then we will do the rest! We will send you a gift card to give to the lucky recipient, reclaim your Gift Aid, and send the donation to ROSHNI so the children can start enjoying your gift very soon! Thank you for helping make this possible!

A new outfit! Many of the children who come to ROSHNI come from families surviving on a very low income. A new outfit and shoes is a luxury many simply can't afford, and children often come to Roshni in clothes which are ill-fitting or falling apart. With your gift, we will buy one of these children either a new school uniform, tracksuit, or other outfit, plus a new pair of shoes. A new outfit can do wonders for your self-esteem, as most of us will know!

A holiday! Can you imagine never having been out of the city you live in? This is the reality for many families in Gwalior, who can't afford not to work, or to travel away for a short holiday. Roshni plan to take a group of these children away for a 2-night break - their first ever holiday! Travel really does broaden the mind, and it will be a fantastic and stimulating experience for the children and young people. Only £15 covers the cost of this trip for one disabled child! Not only will you receive a Gift Certificate when you buy the gift, but we will also send you details after the trip so you can hear all about the adventure you helped to fund!

A new wheelchair! In the UK, wheelchairs come free on the NHS. In India, they have to be bought. The wheelchairs at Roshni are all very old, and we desperately need to replace them. Could you help us by buying a new wheelchair for the centre?
